Salient features

Sone canal system is one of the oldest canal systems in the country. It is in operation since 1874.

The Sirkhinda H.E. Project envisages to utilize the existing fall of 3.25 meter on Buxar Branch Canal at 44.20  Km. main Canal for generation of Hydro Electric Power.

Location : Block – Nokha, Distt. - Rohtas (Sasaram)
